Who we are
For decades, tour and rental companies in the Sedona area have been pitching in with the Forest Service to help out with trail maintenance around Sedona, but in 2021 we decided we needed to get better organized (and start talking to each other!) At first, we called ourselves Red Rock OHV Conservation Crew (“RROCC”), but although the acronym was catchy, us offroad types can’t remember that many syllables. So, when we got our ducks in a row (yes, that’s a Jeep reference) to organize a legitimate non-profit organization, we went with Trail Partners of Arizona. Because the effectiveness of what we are doing out here relies on partnerships with so many other people—the local residents, the U.S. Forest Service, State of Arizona, Yavapai County, local ranchers, and more.
We have accomplished a lot, but we have so much more work to do. And there is no “done.” As long as humans want to go play on public land, our work is never done. But we love it.
